Mystic Amara III is a Bertram 31′ that has been lovingly refurbished and remodelled from top to toe.  This was a huge project for the owners and we were excited to be part of this amazing transformation and team effort.

Mystic Amara II Engines Refurbishment

Amy, the co-owner, comments:

“She was hauled out in the Marina in Jolly Harbour and her engines removed for overhaul. We would like to thank our Marine Technician Ivan De Souza from Xtreme Marine who has been with us every step of this journey, we thank you for your advice, patience and hard work to get us to the stage we are at now”.

Following Ivan’s refurbishment work, they were able to lift the engines into the Bertram. “Everything went just to plan thanks to Ivan at Xtreme Marine along with his assistant Tyrese. Dwayne brought the engines to the house for us, and CC, with his exceptional crane skills, expertly put the engines in the boat for us. This week will see the engine beds made and then the real lining up of the engines will begin. After that, we will hook them up and hopefully soon will be in business”.

“The engine beds were made by Trevor Edwards out of English Harbor. Making the engine beds was a long process, and a lot of adjustments and proper lining up had to be undertaken. Once that was complete, Ivan and Tyrese spent some time making sure everything was perfect for launch day; everything being tightened, secure and safe”.

Ivan was then able to start the engines and make the necessary alignment. Mystic Amara III was back in business; the business of delivering superb fishing experiences for their guests.
